it's not one flower, Kim, it's many on one head. Let's call it the Manyonone
The pictures of creeping thistle on the internet look exactly like your picture, as do the Canada thistle pictures. Having much experience with what I thought was Canadian Thistle, they look different than what I have seen. These pictures are much more attractive.
Are you a flower enthusiast? I also wrote a riddle flower poem.. It's called What am I? and some others like Poor Man's Pride, Belladonna, The Flower the changes its form and... I've forgotten the others. Laurie

Close enough. It's actually a Canada thistle, but you win the glory anyway. This is not Jeopardy. You don't have to phrase your answer in the form of a question. :)
