My Waters Poem by Rachel Aurelien

My Waters

I pour out my water of sorrow in a glass and hide it away, hope to never swallow again
I pour out my water of happiness and keep safe so I can drink it repeatedly
I pour out my water of pain and store it away only for my enemies to knock back
I pour out my water of knowledge I place it in a box for my children to benefit from
I pour out my water of love and put it on the shelf for everyone to see
I pour out my water of sins to be cleaned for when God forgives me
I pour out my water of kindness and stock up for those who have none
I pour out my water of temperance and collect it for the weak ones
I pour out my water of charity and save it for the needy
I pour out my water of diligence and gather away for the careless
I pour out my water of patience and keep supply for the ones who are impatient
I pour out my water of humility and hoard it to be kept for the arrogant ones
