My Story With You Poem by Bilal Khoukhi

My Story With You

Rating: 4.0

I will remember you
As the girl from down the street
The street in that French state
A dream place, that's now obsolete

I will remember you as I sleep
And wake up, I am incomplete

I will remember you
As the girl I will never meet
Never greet, nor lovingly treat

Imma take a seat, something is up
What's going on, Imma lie down
And get buried in this ghost town
Perhaps I'll see you in a white gown

That was my big dream
I'll tell my story, you say it's obscene
I've lived and seen, I am now insane
I thought the other side was always green

See, now everything is black and white
Mostly dark, nothing ever bright
Maybe the thought of you, which I try to fight
With that passion you used to ignite
