My Right To Be Poem by Alan Bruce Thompson

My Right To Be

Rating: 5.0

Wellness and luxury are my privileged right,
To bathe in oils and be perfumed each night.

I deserve continuous loving care,
To indulge my skin, my nails, my hair.

When I look in the mirror it's a unique beauty that I see,
More beautiful than any model in front of me.

It's my right to be adored, to be worshipped as a queen,
When it comes to payment, that should occur unseen.

Who pays for my wellness is all the same to me,
These beauty rituals are my right, my reason to be!

Why should I get a job and ruin my look,
Much better that others support me, and buy my book!

For I have written instructions on how to be like me,
So that others can learn how to have luxury for free!
