මලක් මට පිළිගැන්විණි
එවැන්නක් කිසි දිනෙක හිරිහැර නොගෙනෙනු ඇත
එසේ වුව මට රම්‍ය වූ රෝස ගසක් ඇතිවග පවසා
හැරගියෙමි පියකරු එමල මම

ඉනික්බිති මගේ රම්‍ය රෝස ගස වෙත ගියෙමි
දිවා රෑ ඈව රැක බැලුමට
එසේවුව මගෙ රෝස මල ඉරිසියාවෙන් පසුවුණි වෙනතක බලාගෙන
ඇගේ කටු මගේ එකම සතුට විය
