My Hours Poem by Cody Allan Turner

My Hours

The most pleasant hours of the day
Arrive again as if they’d never gone
The seconds, marching, lead the way
Each hour brings with it a song.

While the incandescent sun, with such generosity, keep us alive
And provides reason to endure the strife
I shall use my hours to help love survive
In its’ quest for everlasting life.
