My Hero's - Poem by Kelsey Martinson

My hero's aren't in comics
My hero's don't wear capes
My hero's don't battle mythical
My hero's don't have a special call
My hero's aren't talked about daily

My hero's are real
My hero's wear green
My hero's risk their lives
For the ones they love
My hero's risk so much
For so little in return
My hero's aren't invincible
My hero's are normal people
With big hearts
My hero's aren't perfect
My hero's make mistakes
But my hero's are
And honorable
My hero's fight for the red white and blue
My hero's fight for me and you

A hero isnt one who fights with swords and magic sheild
A hero isnt one who lives in worn out battle feilds
A hero always shows their face so we can see their true
A hero always fights for love and hopes love will pull through
A hero cant shoot laser beams from out their big blue eyes
And if a hero takes a shot that hero surley dies
A hero will not live forever and altho he can not fly
A hero always keeps us safe untill we reach the sky
A hero feels fear and pain, hate and struggle to
And if you give me just one chance..Ill be that hero for you (Report) Reply
