My heart - that went behind the King of the people
of Madurai like the companion female deer
which was hesitating to proceed across
the flooding river to reach its pair - stood

without getting courage to enter into the gates
of the palace, without having the mind to go out too
and without hiding due to ablush by seeing
the people who smile at me ridiculously!

without giving way for others to enter into the gates
of the palace, without making space to go out too
and without hiding due to ablush by seeing
the people who smile at me ridiculously!
