My Father Poem by Danielle Pongi

My Father

My father,
Wise and intelligent.
Pure and full of patient.
Trustworthy, articulate and faithful,
He's never so hateful.
He sticks to his words,
Whilst singing to the birds.
I'd never wish for another,
Just like him.
Unique and sophisticated.
Yes, just like him.
Happiness and joy,
He wants the best out of us all.
But at the end of the day,
He knows he can't control us.

Humor and passionate,
He's full of compassion.
Accepting and sincere,
He's something you can not compare.
Close to perfection,
Priorities are his children.
Open-minded and a heart so tender,
Genuine love for mankind and distant,
Protection and bravery,
His courage and dismay will never vary.
Religous and calm,
He leaves marks on to my palm.

So artistic and creative,
Imagination so extraodinary.
Noble and pride,
He never tries to hide,
He's proud of his creations,
I've never met anyone so caution.
Loving and caring,
With kind eyes and a charming personality,
A track-star with strength so classic.
His style,
It will take a while.

His hatred towards anger and sadness,
I have never been so blessed.
Hatred towards depression,
He shows imperfection.
A heart like his,
It can not be assimilated.
Humble and down to earth,
That's my father.
I'll never forget his kind heart and smiles,
He 's worth every mile.
His goals for the world,
Is worth the disappoinment,
Just say yes for an appoinment.

I love my father,
He takes up most space in my heart.
The love I have for him is authentic and can never be changed.
Words can't explain just how much I thank god,
For blessing me with a father like my own.
And I'll tell the world whenever,
That the love I have for him will be with me forever.
