Mourning Sounds Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Mourning Sounds

Mourning sounds coming from instruments of meaning and loss of a
loved one, heart being taken and knocked out of place, not able
to find its place again in this being for the mourning sun cannot
face another day alone and empty.

Expressing the sorrow of loss as it seems to intensify a hundred-
fold, no way to escape its tremendous pressure that just cannot
be assuaged in this lifetime of loss.

Nothing can become in a circle of death except the losing of life
as it folds itself into a deep darkness, never again able to take life by the hand and live it over again on another sphere in this world.
