Mortal No Mortal Lock Improvisation 01 24 2004

A watering attraction put upon the face of this
born again star, the soul to will to make her boast
the content of the character of the host holds this
aspirin tablet of resilience the mem-brane shard
of dawning -tomorrow years of a thousand lands
dry and heave mounds of temple building sweat
prepared funerary grounds
Queens of fathers possess a mortal no
an unbending will to outlast promise though night
persist to accompany toys unnamed stored away
dreams we presume each new sense of enchantment
tomorrow brings… play springs from the hearts of
sons of promise tomorrow surprises promise
with lasting token oaths in boxes and wrapping
a year older children and growing wise appear
unchanging a mortal lock persist; house children
hug distant cousins at picnics and play off
infinity wishes out under the sun’s fuss; children
prepossess desire of surprise a skill of moment
watching, sublime mechanics in the message,
the living spirit has risen tomorrow the body that
lies next to us effervesces... up from the reservoir
of dawning glory suspends a moment frozen
for children stretched out on promises of vast
heavenly ground pulling the sun down, warmth
into the still birth bellies overcooked overdue,
awareness in blissful meditation searching
finding direction that edifies and defines itself,
the nascent stage of colorless glassy eyes
behold promise one blink after another.
