Moon Poem Poem by Jimi Doyle

Moon Poem

Rating: 5.0

Just another poet
writing about the moon...
a place he's never been,
never truly seen.

Meanwhile, his heart
is peeling away from his life
like paint from the walls
of a cheap hotel.

Ah but the moon is not all it shows and so I am sure are you... and a cheap hotel can look so smart with a fresh coat of paint... just a phase you are going through.... Alison

has a poignant quality. in art, it would fit with a simple woodblock-type of print
