Moon On The Water Poem by Alnaver Baltazar

Moon On The Water

Rating: 5.0

I want to see the face
of the moon on the water,
Against the shadow of its soul

I want to see the face
of the moon on the water,
…Moving,
…Drowning,
from the dancing of the waves…
Just like my love for you that
Slowly and steadily kills me

One flicker of light
That tries to embrace the eternal darkness,
While its light is just a borrowed one

I want to see the face
of the moon on the water,
…Against the shadow of its soul

Why does the moon on the water tries to borrow its light to the moon? When it can forever ask for its radiance and embrace her to eternity...
