Rushing towards the platform..
My mom yelling… " C'mon….
We are getting late..
For this train in a week this is the only date.. "

I was left behind in the melee..
The way I was not able to see…
I hope my parents wont leave me behind..
Oh! God please be kind..

Around me there were many other parents
Some people searching for their friends…
Then.. something loud..
Burst in the middle of crowd..! !

Smoke..fire..confusion..noise.. prevailed all around..
‘ black Friday ‘ was witnessed by the town..
To reach my parents I needed to flee,
But I was stuck in this melee.

I am afraid of losing them
Oh! God please be my best friend..
Please let together be ' us ‘
I promise I won't create further fuss…

In my life they are a ‘ must ‘
They are the only ones on whom I can trust.
I had tears and more tears..
As I never encountered such a fear……..

Oh! God please hear…
They are the only ones to me who are 'near ‘and ‘dear'
That day I realised..
That they are my possessions prized..

They are my parents..
They are my true friends..
I promise all my bad habits I will amend..
And this change in me would sustain till the end..

Then fortunately very near, I heard my mom..
" It's 6: 30…… c'mon….
It's getting late..
Today is your examination date..! ! "

So real all did it seem..
Though it was only a dream..
But terrorists won't realize..
That before planting a bomb it's not ever enough to think thrice..

But alas..! they are full of avarice
They are blind, they cannot see such tears in the eyes..
For their greed which is not nice..
One day God will surely make them pay the price..! !
