Modern Medicine Dictating Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Modern Medicine Dictating

Walking along edges of heaven, remembering being there, feeling
the intense peace and serenity felt then, totally healed and
joyful, never wanting to leave this heavenly home again.

But alas, modern medicine dictated that I be brought back to
earth to live my life again - pain and turmoil continuing until
dying once again.

So here I sit, writing and listening to music in a corner alone,
until God puts me in the pathway of those He wants to help in
this life through poetry.
