Mmorning Sun Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Mmorning Sun

Morning came and the sun-up was dazzling.
The rays caught on my eye lashes.
I went to visit this sun.
I asked him why he was so fun.

He told me because everyone enjoyed him,
That his very presence was imbibed him.
At last the million children came out to play,
On this sunny, sunny, sunny day.

He told me, crops grew in his presence.
He told him painters painted him,
So orange and thick and flourescent.
The sun said he loved the sun.
