Mistake Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Mistake

Silent
and brooding she sits.
Throwing insults at herself.
As unable to decide
what to think
as her body.
Shivering
but she can feel the sweat.
Can't wash out
the acidic taste
of her depression.
She wants nothing more
than to cry.
But she can't.
Mistake after mistake
try after try
and she still can't manage
to do anything right.
She's wrapped her arms
around herself again.
I wonder wha'ts wrong with her?
Shh! She'll hear you!
She's trying, once again,
to keep her heart
from falling apart
She thinks
maybe if she presses
hard enough
she'll be whole again.
