Mirrored Image
She pleads,
Please! Just kill my heart!
The tears rolling down
and mascara smears flowing
I am a stranger to her
but I can see
her heart breaking and bleeding.
Even though the people closest to her
don't see it.
Seeing no help from me
she says good-bye
and it echoes.
Then leaves in a cloud of pain
and surrounded by a fog of falling tears.
And I wonder
just how many times she'd done this.
She seemed so filled with hurt,
I couldn't comprehend
the full amount.
I pity her and I know she doesn't want it.
She feels as if her whole world
is upside down and spinning uncontrollably.
Nothing's right anymore, everything's changed.
Awww shit,
