Miniscule Poem by Ray Lucero

Miniscule

Recently I visited a nearby Planetarium;
The presenter shared pictures of nearby galaxies,
He spoke of billions of other galaxies,
We learned our sun is a small star amongst countless others.
Earth orbits within a solar system whose sun is but,
A speck of light in the enormity of a vast universe!

I left the presentation feeling miniscule;
Physically insignificant,

And then a epiphany;
The Eternal Architect/Creator God
Keeps the Universe ever expanding!

My eternal soul (the real me) ,
Is part of the 'All That Is'
Created by the Great 'I Am'

Knowing this simple truth,
I no longer felt miniscule
