Mind Pollution Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Mind Pollution

Mind Pollution

She walked in steam.
He walked in fog.
They met somewhere there,
Where fog met steam.

Their minds and hearts,
Were polluted,
And they brought each other,
Their own pollution.

They cheated on each other.
Oh mind pollution.
They lied to each other.
Oh mind pollution.

I wondered and wondered,
When they would give up their game.
Instead they continued the game of,
Mind pollution.
