Minute Things Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Minute Things

Rating: 4.0

Minute Things

What mattered to me
God bless you see
Were the small things people said.
I wondered why they mattered to me.

If people didn't say hi
It only meant good-bye
For I was insulted
By those words that were blunted.

I grew up though
And saw my own ways.
I also made huge mistakes
In the way I handled words to others.

I then believed
That minute things didn't matter.
My mind cleared up you see.
For those words spoken never mattered to me.
