Message Tone

I can hear you call from a distance
And the message tone beeps
A surfaced memory
Now and forever
Forever and never
And the message tone beeps
A smile on your voice
A laugh at hand
I can see you stare;
But you're not really there
And the message tone beeps

    ...And the message tone beeps...
    An excellent piece, very touchy! As if I can also hear/see the beep, of a distant caller, nowhere near, or ever to be! (Report) Reply
