Mesmerised Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mesmerised

Mesmerized

The eagle in sky
Opened wings as if a kite
Precious its glide…

Sun descended to west
Colorful, mostly red.

Offices of nine-five
Had closed turned lights off.

On the roads were workers
From old to youngest
Most, rushing for the bus
Some went to coffee-shops

She, stood, by the lights…

Wore a thick and black overcoat
Hoody was on her head to fight cold.

But her knees, ankles sheens
All the way to skirt
Of the coat and further
Were exposed, neatly shaved.

Each of eyes was a child
Out of home, gotten lost
Confused, looked to sides
From earth to sky…
And in love, mesmerized!

Each of eyes looks like a child. You have amazingly and brilliantly observed the eagle in sky. An excellent poem is nicely penned.10
