Mental Age Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Mental Age

Rating: 5.0

Playing and playing and playing with toys
The old man thinks he is just like the boys.
I heard the toys what they comment for me
Their mental age I wonder to see.
"This old man is a lovely toy."
"At this age he is still a boy."
The smallest doll said, "He is usually nice.
But when I ask for a gift he reads its price.
I doubt he will take another ten years,
To get rid of his old age fears,
And to be changed in a perfect play boy,
But by that time we shall not be a toy."

This old man is a lovely toy. At this age he is still a boy........except a few most aged are like this only...my grand children are so attached to me because I'm their age....a pragmatic thought and work

Age is just a number. If we think that we are young, we remain young! Even when one is aged, the child in us comes to the fore many a time! A pleasant read!
