Mending Poem by Berkeley B

Mending

Love is never lost, but only wanders
Like how autumn leaves fade into winter breeze
To evolve to things that we can only ponder.

Darkness grows to lengths that are beyond her
Sadness sets inside him like a freeze
Love is never lost, but only wanders.

They will never know what makes them stronger
The iron weight of guilt grows to disease
To evolve to things that we can only ponder.

A fateful day begins with growing somber
Where flowing tears wretch them down to their knees
Love is never lost, but only wanders.

The doubtful pair soon meet to seize the thunder
To mend frustrations by the salty seas
To evolve to things that we can only ponder.

Their newfound bond will slowly sew them stronger
They meet at dawn to walk along the trees
Love is never lost, but only wanders
To evolve to things that we can only ponder.
