Descriptive Poem by Berkeley B

Descriptive

Oh, I could scrawl
A descriptive poem
On a wrinkled, filthy piece of paper
About how
Spheres of rain
Patter on a long-forgotten porch.
Moments when
Mighty gusts of wind
Whip my chocolate hair into a knotted mystery
As I spot the little red flower
Sprouting up out of a crack in the pavement,
Thriving upward.
As lightning cackles in the bountiful sky
Just as excitement does inside of me.
And then
The world
Is calm
Again.
Just as it was before
I wrote this descriptive poem.
