Meaningful Communication Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Meaningful Communication

Purposeful it is...
Respecting to listen.
Both entertaining and educational,
Is the sharing of this with others.
Without spending a dime.
For the time given spent to do.
With this to prove eventually,
How important it is to know...
When to open and close a mouth.
Than to continually pretend,
Of a knowing of something...
One knows nothing about.
Then wasting time making excuses made.
In the hope an argument to start,
Defends one's defenseless stupidity.

Effective and meaningful communication,
Not only prevents exposing one's ignorance.
But also allows,
Others to recognize...
The important it is to learning something.
Done to share.
Before rambling on about nothing.
Nothing beneficial.
Without getting stares,
Directly sent and meant to get...
To a fool in the hope this message is sent.

"Why are you all staring at me?
Either you agree with me or you don't.
I'm not into mixed messages."
