You find yourself in a poem
With the words as mirrors
All the people look at you as you look at them
You want to be invisible and feel the edge getting nearer
You find yourself in yourself
Lost in your own eyes and unable to be found
The happiest parts of you are put away on a shelf
They are silent in the dark as they dont make a sound
You find yourself in his eyes
The tears are gone and the so is the knife
The sleepless nights and all the goodbyes
The kind of happiness was overflowing in a rife sort of way
You find yourself with healing scars and a smile in your heart
The feeling he gives you is almost tangible love
You dont feel lost or dead or like a trashed piece of art
You know there is hope sent to you from somewhere above
