Mary said an angel came
to visit her and blathered,
and when the time had come to name
the baby Joseph fathered
they both agree it was a Ghost
who left her his deposit.
This story which some love the most
was just a fib-or was it?
If Mary lied about the tiding,
as I suspect occurred,
I wonder if she got a hiding
from Joseph, the poor nerd.
We’ll never know, but if it’s true
it’s probable that Mary
made love to God because the Jew
she married was a fairy.

I would like to translate this poem
Gershon. This is a classic. Thankyou for the surge on my giggle-o-meter.
