Mary Magdalene Poem by Leaking Pen

Mary Magdalene

She came unprepared for glory
Then true faith framed her story.

An ordinary plain looking woman
Who's common as a citrus lemon,

Tried by scribes and historians
Defamed by early theologians.

To keep Her light beneath the Light
When Jealousy framed her plight.

Apostle's vanity blinds the Sun
From quick prayers on the run.

But when He rose to life again an then
Appeared first to The Magdalene.

Where true faith was tried and tested
Unlike Peter's where in doubts nested.

Eternal flame was born from her loins
Mary The Mother where faith in love joins.

Mary Magdalene me!
Mary The Mother
In faith I ‘d rather be
A sister than a brother!
