Mad Nima Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mad Nima

Mad Nima

In Nima appeared
-Iran's Pond, Elliot.

The father of poets
-in new-world-system.

Once I saw a man who
-kind of was his neighbour.

Eager to learn, know more
-about my favourite
-I asked him of Nima.

"Was mad and a loner! "

The man said, and I felt
-squeezed in tight shell.

Read more and again read
-found out that the poet
-was too wise and great
-felt obliged to nation
-wrote of life and culture
-wrote of men and women
-wrote of sun and water
-wrote of shades of colours
-wrote of how felt swan
- (when aging, left alone!)

"The swan flew to…"

Left poem open end
-to allow the reader…

Strong, I stand
-to the ugly comments
-on me and on others
-since, devil are tellers
-whenever they are the
-main source of ignorance
-and act as the learned! ! !
