Luck Poem by Siddhant Sharma

Luck

Rating: 4.8

Sitting in his large house, Raman told Ravi
“Luck is never with me,
And when Luck is against me,
I lose every opportunity.”

Ravi looked aghast
As if questioning his companion,
Capturing his gesture,
Raman gave an explanation

“Every time I play in Roulette
I lose my coupons.
I have stopped playing Roulette now,
As I have no Luck in bet.

My teacher took me for a cheater
When I opened a paper plane
That came flying from outside the hall
And landing straight into my lap

My Luck is never with me.
My Luck is worse than a mouse.”
Ravi contemplated a bit,
Then got up and answered.

“You say, Luck is never with you
And your Luck is worse than a mouse.
But I ask, was Luck not with you
When you were born in such a rich house? ”
