Day-Night Poem by Siddhant Sharma

Day-Night

A lively sunrise wakes us
In the morning, drying the crying grass
Bringing new hopes for the world.

The midday shows the sun
At its peak, spreading light over the world
Spreading happiness and prosperity.

The sunset now gives a bittersweet view.
The night takes fun of the moment
The sun becomes sad.

The night enjoys this moment
When it can exploit anyone
It is unaware that it has to vanish.

After the night the sun rises and it all moves on.
We also come and go; it is on us
Whether we affect the world
Or it affects us.
