Everyday I wake up in the morning and look at my life ahead
Wow, what a feeling to have you in my life
Are you a magician and have cast a spell on me?
You fill my world with love, that brings happiness and contentment

At times, you are so naughty
That you quietly come in my mind
And even while I am walking alone
I end up smiling or laughing while other people doubt my sanity

What are you?
Definitely not a human,
Are you an angel,
That you make me laugh and bloom even in your absence

Why is it that every time when you answer my phone
A mild current of excitement flows through me
Why is it that every time after a fight when we meet
I cannot stop my lips from spreading, to welcome you with this smile

I think that this chemistry is called love
Perhaps only God knows the details,
Why two molecules react together
And what chemical reaction occurs

Though I don’t know many things
I know one thing for sure
That you are only one person
Who makes everything meaningful to me

Without you
Everything else remaining constant,
I feel lonely
But you are not everyone

Perhaps you are that thread of love
That runs through all the pearls of my life
And without you, though I will have them all
They will still be nothing to me

You are that background of my life’s painting
Without which the entire picture looks incomplete
And which without even being noticed
Gives so much meaning


What are you my love
I think you are ocean in which my life swims like a fish
So, I pray to God, let this fish go before the day,
The day on which this ocean evaporates.
