Mother, Mother Where Are You? Poem by Komal 7883

Mother, Mother Where Are You?

My heart calls in agony,
Mother, mother where are you,
You are the healer,
You are the maker,
You are the source,
Where are you hiding, your child needs you.

Thoughts terrify, What happens to life after death
What happens to a flame after being extinguished
What happens? I wonder

Are you still around, helplessly watching us,
Or are you resting on the plain of peace, before beginning a new journey,
All I want to know is that you are happy wherever it be.

No person in this world can match you ever,
Your warmth, your love, your humour, your hugs
I will miss forever.

Every time I experience a strong emotion, painful, successful or joyful,
I remember you my mother,
The circle of my life will always be incomplete without you my mother,

Where are you,
Someone told me that you will be back as a child to me,
Is it true?

I don’t know, but I really hope its you,
I love you my mother,
I am waiting for my life to be a full circle again.

I love you mother and,
I remember you in every tear,
every smile,
every fear
and in life’s every mile.

When you were around,
Money was not found,
Wanted to treat you with so many things
Though you were happy in few

Now I have so much
But you are not around to enjoy
Hope you are being taken care off
After so many years of only looking after

God is my friend
And to him, you, I have only lent
You will soon be back in my life as my child
And will be your own grandchild

I love you, wherever you are now,
Just wait a while and we will be back together somehow.
