The sweetness and the joy of love
is how we all survive.
It's roses, perfume and starlight.
It makes you feel alive.

You search the skies and choose a star
and look for it every night.
Then when you see it shining again
you know that everything's right.

Those lusty feelings that you have
can take your breath away.
It's desire and eyes that search at times
then close on each new day

while you reflect on how you can be so still
while your heart is skipping a beat.
To know such love and to offer it freely
makes you feel complete.

The sweetness and the joy of love
can always be counted on.
Once you've felt it, you savor it
and its taste is never gone.
