Love's Ponder Poem by Jayatissa K. Liyanage

Love's Ponder

Rating: 5.0

Golden rays fallen free on her
reflected out making no use of
Rays, cast out from sunlit moon
not hording a bit for herself
kisses wavy ocean momentarily

Moon being unaware, it was sun's emission
So was the ocean, yet inadvertently though
ocean receiving it caused, waves gleaming
Neither sun nor moon, demanding for
effects brought about on ocean waves

Moonlight strewn beach in golden hue
lies stretched and opened to all directions
Under the sun and moon, and on the beach
amongst waves, swaying and rolling
lingered the Muse of love, glimmering

A magnificent piece of poem on the beauty of a beach side and the waves rising in an ocean! It is love that stirs mind and Nature to send out waves of beauty. The land reserves no portion of this love or beauty but gives it away for all to enjoy. A sure 10
