Love Or Drugs Poem by Randy McClave

Love Or Drugs

Love and drugs won't ever mix
Together they are not a fix,
Together they cannot ever survive
One wants you dead, and the other wants you alive.
You can either drop love for your drugs
And then lose companionship, hope and hugs,
Or you can drop the drugs for your love
And then keep all that you have dreamed of.
You cannot keep two loves in the same house
You cannot have a lover and a spouse,
If in your life love or drugs is your main call
Choose love, or your house most certainly will fall.
Love and drugs cannot ever blend
Ones a forever, and then ones a saddened end,
One will destroy, and the other is a devotional oath
You can never ever keep love and drugs both.
