Love And Peace (2) Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Love And Peace (2)

Rating: 4.3

Love And Peace, a brief letter to my dearest Mother

My Dearest Beloved Mother
today I write you the most important letter
I constantly feel happiest and better
under your loving care
and most caring love
now you are above
I know that you are not happy
with these last month's on-goings
bit farther than our next door

there's so much more my precious Mother
you can see from heaven
that hell is going on and more
we all still suffer more
a bit farther than our next door

Dearest Mother
am thinking of Ukraine
the inhabitants are having
bullets on their plates
their home and hearth
torn apart
abashed be
the destroyer
a one man's deed
we need
in full urgency
love and peace

A letter to the Mother on the happenings in Ukraine. A situation so dreadful. Mother must be watching and feeling sad too.

The inhabitants are having bullets in their plates-------------love and piece', a very heart touching stanza in your nice letter.I am moved at the conditions of persons whose home and hearth have been torn by misdeed of a dictator.Top scores for sharing.
