Love And Peace Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Love And Peace

Love And Peace
(A brief letter to my dearest Mother)

My Dearest Beloved Mother
today I write you the most important letter

I constantly feel happiest and better
under your loving care
and most caring love
now you are above
I know that you are not happy
with these last month's on-goings
bit farther than our next door

there's so much more my precious Mother
you can see from heaven
that hell is going on and more
we all still suffer more
a bit farther than our next door

Dearest Mother
am thinking of Ukraine
the inhabitants are having
bullets on their plates
their home and hearth
torn apart

abashed be
the destroyer
a one man's deed
we need
in full urgency
love and peace

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A serious conference organized, there's promised no firing anymore on Ukraine, but the next day all old things are happening again, the madman is still firing Ukraine, whereto will this lead? The west are only talking, but no thing happened, that's why the dutch poetess is very sad, thank you so much for reading
