Love And Desire
I have never told-
You were no dear to me
When you are with me
and you not near me.
How can I be not physical
Having clad in flesh and blood
How can I push you
Far away
And remain sound and steady?
Try to understand
The lover
Within me all the time
Dress it up with flowers, incense
and lights
Leaving behind all the world
Embrace me unto your bosom
And delight your life altogether,
before and after.
Keep the past carefully in memory
Dry the present with the love-rays
Because
People live for love
People die for love
So love is
The sole life of the earth.
