Love Poem by Paul Britton

Love

Rating: 5.0

With her long flowing hair of darkest night and eyes of crimson red,
With a smile so seductive she could stop man or woman in their stead,
With a sway to her hips and a laugh low and throaty she was alluring,
Simply being near her was to feel so relaxed and she was reassuring,
Her finest feature though was her full inviting lips just begging to be kissed,
Should one kiss her they would fall deeply, madly in love.. they wouldn't be missed,
As her kiss was as sure as death for she was a nymph of legend and myth,
I should know for late last night she was the one I was with,
As night turned to day and day to night,
I was kept captive yet I did not mind,
For she was the dark to my light,
And I was a rarity to her kind,
So I stayed for days on end not caring the world was searching,
As long as I could stay with her I did not care who was hurting,
For I was in love with her and she with me,
So we stayed together worry and care free
