Lost Mind Poem by Victoria Hudson

Lost Mind

Alone I lay
Quiet and aimless
My mind goes astray
And lands in darkness.

All I can think about
All I can ever question
All there is is doubt
I can only think of him

Dark and lost
Scared and hidden
It was a game I lost
I don't see life without him.

No thought appears
No hate
Just tears
Tears that I made

I would've gave the world
I would've gave my life
But in the end, I only hurt
That's how I live, full of strife.

I backed down
I forgot
But damn.
He is still my only thought

Lost in the darkness
I see no light
I'm honestly just a mess
And I give up the fight.
