Lost Beauty Poem by Raven Maloy

Lost Beauty

Rating: 4.5

In a forgotten Vale in the dark
Disaster struck silently
'Twas once a place of beauty and life
O' er it now loom stark death and violent decay
And amongst the Ash the snow and the muck
There shines a solemn spark
So bright the light, so elequent
Misplaced beauty frozen in time
Stands solitary
My polaris o'er the violent sea
Lonely awaits for its sailor to guide
