Lost Poem by manda dutson

Lost

I have stretched myself out of shape
Into some foreign object, completely unaware
I have become this thing I do not know
And am unfamiliar with the territory

The moon has wained into oblivion, and I
Lost in this enigmatic land, am alone.
Such sorrow, even I dare not not exhale
Afraid my own retribution may be worst of all

Fear replaces peace so easily, I am stunned
Leaving nothing but yesterday to long for
Yet, it too is gone, captured by time
And shall stand still for all eternity

This is wonderful. I know this feeling.
