Lord here I am on bended knee
Begging you please come and fill me
I've been away for far too long
But I know your love is so very strong
Meet me now Lord in this place
Speak to me Lord face to face
I'm longing to hear your spoken word
Though I'm starting to think the thought absurd
Is it possible to hear your voice?
To help and guide myevery choice
I've known about you all my life
And always seek you in times of strife
But there's something more I'm seeking now
To be filled with your spirit from heel to brow
The life I seek is not so common
Many have tried and most have fallen
I want to show your love through me
And open their eyes to epiphany
They'll see your love in all I do
Then they will know your word is true
