Surrounded by stars, barely noticed at night
Sometimes new, sometimes old
Yet never apart the original mold

Frustration building
There is no ceiling
To the crookedness their wielding
So tired of this feeling

I cant pretend to know the pain your going through
Or even begin to grasp the feelings inside of you
I cant fix all your problems or guarantee a cure
But I can see Gods love in you with faith so strong and pure

Life raging like the angry sea

Wave after wave crashing over me

Sometimes I lie awake at night
My head full of thoughts of you
I wander if things are going right
Have I made your dreams come true
...

I can't begin to understand

The idea of all that's in your hand
...

Born unworthy full of sin
To a life alone I cannot win
Till one day I heard your word
The petty things suddenly absurd
...

There by my side through thick and thin
You gave my life a positive spin
Day by day I'd check your room
In hopes your smile could consume
...

Sometimes I see things black and white
Mostly things just don't seem right
So many suffering day and night
So much struggling and daily plight
...

My reflection has many sides.
Though I have taken strides
To fight the forces deep inside
There are only some things I'm able to hide
