I was lost before you led me forth
Through dangerous lands to kingdom come
Passing through darkness never seeming to end
With dragons and demon warriors to overcome.

Travelling through valley of despair
Crossing stormy ocean of misery and doubt
Surviving purple storms terrifying the soul
Keeping faith to reach Heaven's gate.

Entering land of endless joy and love
Steps never faltering because of you
Encouraging me to take the blows
Turning the other cheek with fortitude.
