Loner Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Loner

She came from them;
Naturally thought she was
One of them,
But they knew
She was not one
Of the little people.
The gracious ones
Never really fit in,
They who despise
Ignorant haters,
Bullies that feed
On the fear
And pain of others.
An outcast
Is all she could ever be,
With a heart and soul
Bigger than
She would ever know.
