Lonely Little Leaf Poem by Marilyn Lott

Lonely Little Leaf

Rating: 5.0

One day I saw this lonely little leave
Upon the blacktop driveway
The wind was blowing gently
Causing it to swing and sway.

For Autumn is now upon us
But it is only the very beginning
Of leaves as they fall from the trees
It will be weeks before the ending.

But don't you love the seasons?
Even this tiny leaf right here
Just think, the holidays, my friend
Are getting very, very near!

These are the small indicators of change associated with various seasons throughout the year. Nicely presented. Thanks.
